Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye (Turkish: Ticaret Bakanlığı) is a ministry dealing with internal and external commercial issues and customs. The ministry has been created in 2018 just after the presidential elections, following a constitutional referendum held throughout Türkiye on 16 April 2017. Before this, ministries and undersecretaries -merging and forming the ministry- has gone through several name changes and has been both downsized and enlarged at the same time, with issues related to work being split to the newborn Ministry of Treasury and Finance, to the Ministry of Industry and Technology and to the Investment Office (formerly, the ISPAT). The Ministry has permanent missions and commercial offices almost all over the world and provincial organizations called "Directorates of Free Zones" and "Regional Directorates of Customs and Foreign Trade" with its subunits namely in all regions and cities of Türkiye.
